Design of Distributed Secondary Coil in Linear Variable Differential Transformer

摘要: 为满足线性可变差动变压器( LVDT) 的精细化和轻量化发展需求,对二段式 LVDT 的次级线圈设计方法展开研究。 提出了一种基于轴向分区方式的半仿真代理数据模型等效方法,建立了 LVDT 次级线圈尺寸与输出信号非线性度误差分布间的映射关系。 研究了次级线圈排布方式对线性度的影响规律,提出了高线性度输出的次级线圈设计方法。 通过有限元仿真,验证了代理数据模型的准确性和次级线圈优化设计方法的可行性。 结果表明,在不改变 LVDT 外形尺寸和不增减内部零部件的前提下, 优化后 LVDT 在全行程范围内的最大非线性度误差降低至0. 262%,仅为初始结构中最大误差值的 19. 1%,提升了高长径比型 LVDT 的实用价值。

Abstract: In order to meet the requirement for refinement and lightweight development of linear variable differential transformer( LVDT) , the design of secondary coil in high-length-diameter ratio LVDTs was conducted. A semi simulation proxy data model with axial partition method was proposed based on the finite element model, the mapping relationship between the structure parameters of LVDT’ s secondary coils and the distribution of nonlinearity error of the output signal
was established. The influence of the secondary coils’ arrangement on the distribution of nonlinearity error was investigated and the design method to improve the linearity of the output signal was suggested. The accuracy of the semi simulation proxy data model and the feasibility of the optimization method for the secondary coil was verified by the finite element method. The results indicated that, without any change on the external dimensions or the number of the internal components of the LVDT, the maximum nonlinearity error within the whole travel range of the LVDT was reduced to 0. 262%, which was only 19. 1% of the maximum error value in the original one, and the utility of thus high-length-diameter ratio LVDTs was enhanced.
