Research on a Linear Ultrasonic Motor Using Bending-in-Plane and Longitudinal Modes

摘要: 对面内弯纵复合模态的直线超声电动机进行了研究,改进了电机定子,在定子的矩形板上开孔。利用瑞利-里兹法求解定子矩形板的面内二阶弯振频率和一阶纵振频率,通过调节矩形板上开孔尺寸,调节了定子的面内二阶弯振频率和一阶纵振频率,使之更为接近,从而利于这两种模态的同频激发。通过实验证明,矩形板开孔后,定子驱动足的振幅明显增大,电机的输出速度和动力得以提高。

Abstract: In order to improve the power output of the linear ultrasonic motor, the stator of the motor was improved. The rectangular plate of the stator has several holes. The in-plane second-order bending vibration frequency and the first-order longitudinal vibration frequency of the rectangular plate were calculated by Rayleigh-Ritz method. By adjusting the length of the holes on the rectangular plate, the frequency of the two modes were closer, which was instrumental in the same frequency excitation of these two modes. Experiments showed that the amplitude of the stator of the driving foot increases obviously after the rectangular plate was perforated, and the output speed and power of the motor can be significantly improved.
