Analysis of Current Decay of Stepper Motor Driver

摘要: 针对两相步进电动机的驱动控制,分析了恒流细分驱动在不同的电流衰减模式下电机驱动电流及电流纹波。对步进电动机及细分控制进行数学建模,建立驱动控制仿真模型,通过状态机模型控制H桥电路开关管的工作顺序,仿真了电流慢速衰减、快速衰减、混合衰减三种情况下电机绕组的电流波形以及纹波大小,结果表明,混合衰减模式能使驱动电流较好地跟随正余弦参考电流,同时获得较小的电流纹波,使电机运行更加平稳。

Abstract: For the drive control of two-phase stepper motor, the waveform and ripple of the drive current under different current decay modes of the constant current subdivision drive were analyzed. The stepper motor and subdivision control were mathematically modeled, the drive control model was established by simulation, and the working order of the bridge circuit switches was controlled through the state machine model. The stepper motor winding current and ripple size under three conditions of current slow decay, fast decay and mixed decay were analyzed. The results show that the mixed decay mode can make the drive current better follow the sine and cosine reference current, and at the same time obtain a smaller current ripple, which makes the motor run more smoothly.
