Research on Simplified FEA Model of U-Shape Coreless Permanent Magnet Linear Generator

摘要: U形无铁心结构的直线发电机具有惯性小、起动推力小等优点,应用于波浪能发电领域,可以在较小的波浪下起动发电。从发电机角度对该结构的电机磁场进行了建模分析,并建立解析模型和有限元模型。利用诺伊曼边界条件将该模型简化为最小周期,同时针对直线发电机往复运动的特殊模式,提出了一种时步求解过程中的坐标系映射变换方法,将一个恒速周期内的电压或电流波形变换为变速运行状态下的波形。通过对比该模型在解析、有限元方法和实验结果,得出该简化模型有效,且精度可靠的结论。

Abstract: The U-shaped coreless linear generator has the advantages of low inertia and low starting thrust which can convent wave energy under small waves. The magnetic field of U-shape coreless linear generator was modeled by analytical method and finite element method. By employing the Neumann boundary conditions, the model was simplified to the minimum period. For the special reciprocating motion mode of linear generator, a coordinate mapping transformation method in the time-step solution process was proposed. This method could transform the voltage or current waveform in a constant speed period into waveform under variable speed period. By comparing the results of the model in analysis, finite element method and experiment, it was concluded that the simplified model was effective and the accuracy was reliable.
